BAPE Character Generator
If you have seen the South Park and Simpsons character creators on the net, then check out this BAPE / Billionaire Boys Club character generator. If you are unfamiliar with what I’m talking about a character generator allows you to select different facial features and clothing to create a cartoon of yourself or anyone you choose.
It is hosted on Pharrell’s site so you know it is legit.
Here are some characters I created.
If you create any characters and want to submit them to the site, just send me an e-mail and I will add them.
how do you save the character?
They really should have a way to save but you gotta do it the hard way and take a screen shot.
Here are the instructions for Mac and PC. If you are using Vista use your start bar and type snipping tool. You can use it to draw a box around your character and then save it to your hard drive.
Mac:
1.Press Command+Shift+4
2.Cursor will turn into a “cross-hairs” icon
3.Click and drag over your “dressed up” Pharrell
4.Release the mouse and the image will be taken (you should hear a snapshot sound)
5.Now the image should be saved on your desktop
PC:
1.Press the “Print Screen” key on your keyboard
2.Open up an image editing program (ex. Microsoft Paint)
3.Go to “edit” the choose paste
4.Crop image to desired size
5.Go to “file” and choose “save as”
6.Name your file and save
