BAPE meets UGG boots
0The winter season is approaching and it looks like A Bathing Ape is hoping to cash in on the UGG craze. The BAPE foot soldier boots are made from sheep skin and come in four different colours.
If you live in a country with a winter season, you will probably be familiar with the road salt which is used to get rid of the ice all over the roads. A crappy side effect is that it leaves a nasty white stain on your jeans and shoes (it can be washed off). The beige boots won’t be so bad for this but the black boots will show it like crazy. Either way, I don’t need to worry since I won’t be wearing these since they are obviously a girls style. I always think it is good though when BAPE does make girl styles since they do make up half the worlds population (maybe more, havn’t ran my stats in awhile!). BAPE STORE NEW YORK CITY – FASHIONS NIGHT OUT

So there was a big event at the BAPE and BBC Ice Cream store on Friday, September 10th. If you missed it, too bad š (I missed it too!). There is always next year though. Don’t worry, you can check out the pics below to see what was happening.Ā There was a huge crowd, and it looks like Greene St. was closed off for the event. There is also some video footage of Kanye West leaving the store after buying some BAPE. It looks like he waited until the busiest night possible to go there shopping! I’m not surprised though, he sure does love attention.
NEW BAPE iPHONE CASES
0ZoZo has asked some of the brands on their site to provide designs for iPhone cases. This means that there are now several cases for iPhone 3GS and the iPhone 4G. The cases feature the BAPE camo pattern and come in three colours, pink, grey, and green.
BAPE – RAKUTEN EAGLES NEW PRODUCT RELEASE

You might not know this, but Japan loves baseball.Ā It is not a new fad either, Japanese have enjoyed baseball as a sport and past time for a long time.Ā In fact, I think that the sport still holds more popularity in Japan then it does in North America.Ā So it isn’t really a big shock that BAPE has teamed up with a Japanese baseball team, the Rakuten Eagles.Ā I am not sure what made then decide to go with that team only so I am going to go out on a limb and say that it is Nigo’s favourite Japanese baseball team (mine too!).
I am happy to mention that BAPE and Rakuten Eagles have come out with a pretty good amount of products with the latest release.Ā I think so far, the BAPE / Sanrio team up has been the largest amount of items released for a collaboration effort with A Bathing Ape but this is definitely a close second.
New BAPE Store in KOREA

BAPE has opened a new store in Seoul South Korea.Ā This is good news for Koreans, as they will no longer have to fly/boat to Japan or drive to China to get their hands on authentic BAPE products.Ā Maybe one day, a BAPE store will open in Canada.
