A Bathing Ape has just released a new line of corduroy BAPESTA shoes. If you are a skateboarder, these shoes would be perfect for skating. After seeing these, I am thinking that BAPE should release a skateboard/snowboard line of clothing. They wouldn’t have to change too many things to do this. They already have the backpacks, jackets, cargo pants, etc… I would love to see some BAPE skateboard decks, wheels, trucks, and grip tape. They could also release some cool BAPE snowboards, and boots.
AMBUSH BAPE CREEPSTAS

I hope all of you had great holidays! If you got some new BAPE, then I am sure it was a good holiday. I am looking forward to the new year and hoping to see some awesome new BAPE styles.
It looks like BAPE has now teamed up with a company called Ambush to release a line of footwear known as Creepstas. Personally, I don’t like them. I am not a huge fan of the colours but it is mostly the style which doesn’t sit right with me. The buckle really looks bad.
I think BAPE and Ambush should work together to create some BAPESTA Footsoldier shoes or the new BAPESTA hi-top designs. As for these Creepsta’s, I am just going to forget that they exist and hopefully I never see them again.
New KAWS + BAPE BAPESTAs Released

BAPE has teamed up with KAWS to create some new BAPESTAs for this summer. As usual when BAPE and KAWS team up, the results are always amazing. Check out the detail on the shoes below and see for yourself. For those of you who don’t know KAWS, he is a well known graffiti artis from New Jersey, USA. Back in the 90’s KAWS produced vinyl figures, which he still does through his company Original Fake selling toys like Bearbrick, Wallbrick, etc… In 2003 at a BAPE Gallery, one of KAWS sculptures sold for $400,000 so him and Nigo are pretty good friends. Whenever KAWS Bapesta’s come out, they get snatched up pretty quickly so if you want a pair, you better act fast. The price for a pair is $260 which is a good price.

New BAPESTA Shoe Styles
0You may have noticed that there are some new style of BAPESTAs this season. Some people might mistake them for fakes but it’s just a new style. Take a look at the pictures below.
New styles
Notice how the bottom of the star is cut off at the sole of the shoe. With the old styles this would be a dead give away for fapes (fake bapes). However these are legit although buying over ebay or online could make it really hard to tell with these so I would suggest getting this style in store only.

These BAPE shoes don’t have any star on them at all making it even harder to tell the difference from a fake when buying online. Always make sure you are buying from a legitimate source. Check out the Fake BAPE section for tips on spotting fake BAPE merchandise and a list of sellers with bad reps.
