BAPE Concepts: CAPCOM + A Bathing Ape

Alright folks, here is my first BAPE concept. As the title says, I am hoping to one day see a collaboration between A Bathing Ape and Capcom.
In the past, BAPE has teamed up with Marvel and released some pretty amazing BAPE hoodies, tshirts, and bapestas. Marvel has branched out a lot similar to A Bathing Ape so they made a good team. Another company which Marvel has worked with is Capcom for the release of Marvel vs Capcom. I was thinking that a Capcom Street Fighter BAPE line would be awesome. I hope this happens, and I think the chances would be good since both companies are Japanese companies and I know A Bathing Ape has teamed up with a ton of other Japanese companies in the past, including Nintendo for the DS release. The series could be called BAPE vs CAPCOM.

This year has been busy for A Bathing Ape. As we have seen, BAPE has release A Fishing APE, BAPE Pro Wrestling, Mr. BAPE, and the list goes on. So I started thinking of different companies that BAPE could team up with in order to create some limited edition items aside from the usual BAPESTA lines. Obviously, these are just for entertainment purposes and don’t actually represent BAPE. However, there is always the chance someone at BAPE or Nigo himself will see my concepts and run with it to create something awesome.
I am going to make a new page for this as well so that you can easily find all of the concepts. If you have any suggestions or want to submit your own concepts, then drop me a line in the comments.
New KAWS + BAPE BAPESTAs Released

BAPE has teamed up with KAWS to create some new BAPESTAs for this summer. As usual when BAPE and KAWS team up, the results are always amazing. Check out the detail on the shoes below and see for yourself. For those of you who don’t know KAWS, he is a well known graffiti artis from New Jersey, USA. Back in the 90’s KAWS produced vinyl figures, which he still does through his company Original Fake selling toys like Bearbrick, Wallbrick, etc… In 2003 at a BAPE Gallery, one of KAWS sculptures sold for $400,000 so him and Nigo are pretty good friends. Whenever KAWS Bapesta’s come out, they get snatched up pretty quickly so if you want a pair, you better act fast. The price for a pair is $260 which is a good price.

BAPE FIREFOX PERSONAS
0If you use Firefox and are looking to add some style to your browser, look no further. With the latest updates to Firefox, you can now add personas which are basically themes for your browser.
Here is a screenshot I took of my browser with a Baby Milo Camo Pattern. I am also using iGoogle which has a multi-colour BAPE camo pattern. If you are not already using igoogle, I suggest you do. It allows you to customize Google to your liking and you can add all sorts of modules to your search page. Anyway, back to the BAPE Firefox personas.

Currently, these are all the themes available. It is actually quite a lot seeing as the Personas feature is relatively new to firefox. If you are not using the latest version of Firefox, you can install a plugin which will allow you to use the Personas themes feature.
Nigo’s Workshop – Hand Printed / Silk Screened T-shirts

For a limited time, you can get your own hand printed t-shirt. There are 6 designs to choose from. 5 of the designs feature Baby Milo in different samurai outfits. There is also one BAPE design featuring the ape head in different colours.
As you can see, the final result comes out pretty good. If you are in the area, you should definitely stop by and pick one up.
