It looks like BAPE is branching off into all sorts of markets lately. They released the BAPE Gallery a couple weeks ago which offered school/office furniture and in the past they have teamed up with Pepsi and Nintendo. Now BAPE has created “A Fishing APE” offering a range of fishing products. All the products look really good and are made with high quality materials as expected from BAPE.
I really like the fishing lures, they look awesome and I bet they would work well.
The series includes BAPE fishing jackets, BAPE scuba gear, BAPE fishing rods, BAPE fishing lures, and some BAPE sunglasses, hat, and chino pants. Check out the gallery below to see photos of all the items.

BAPE Haiti relief t-shirt for charity
0BAPE has released a special shirt to help out everyone in Haiti affected by the earth quake recently. Proceeds from the sales of the shirt will go towards charity to help out the people of Haiti.
BAPE HAITI T-SHIRT (FRONT)
The front of the shirt shows the sun shining over a silhouette of the country Haiti. I’m not 100% sure but it looks like the bottom says BAPE x Send Help.
BAPE HAITI T-SHIRT (BACK)
The back of the shirt says “The sun will shine again on the people of Haiti. One Love.”

We will be taking pre-orders for a limited BAPE® Haiti Tee in collaboration with Gene Krell, International Fashion Director of GQ Japan/Vogue Japan.
The t-shirt features an image of Haiti and a sun on the front, while paying tribute to the country on the back, with the words “The sun will shine again on the people of Haiti. One Love”. A portion of total sales of this t-shirt will be donated to Save The Children.
This item is available via in-store and web PRE-SALE only. The t-shirt will retail for $73 and actual delivery of t-shirt will be in May or June.
In-store pre-sale for the t-shirts will begin on March 16th and close on March 30th at both BAPE STORE® NEW YORK and BAPE STORE® LOS ANGELES. Pre-payment in the store is required to secure receipt of t-shirt in May.
Web shop pre-sale dates will begin on March 26th at 7 PM (EST) and will close on March 29th at 12 PM noon (EST).
**Please be aware that all t-shirts will be delivered or available in MAY 2010 prior to placing any orders. There will be no t-shirts available when the t-shirts arrive in May – only those with receipts of pre-payment will be able to receive t-shirts.
In-store or web pre-sale is the ONLY way to purchase these t-shirts.
BAPE HOODIE CHARACTER GENERATOR

I found this cool flash program that lets you see some different BAPE hoodie styles. There are 14 styles in total to select from. Click on the H, and C buttons in the bottom left to zoom in on the face. Use the circles along the bottom left to select different styles. Once you have selected a style, you can mouse over the character and it will display the name of the hoodie style. Also, the background music can be changed by clicking on the animated BAPE wording to the left of the hoodie character.
I am working on a BAPE character creator and will add features for with or without the hoodie.

New BAPESTA Shoe Styles
0You may have noticed that there are some new style of BAPESTAs this season. Some people might mistake them for fakes but it’s just a new style. Take a look at the pictures below.
New styles
Notice how the bottom of the star is cut off at the sole of the shoe. With the old styles this would be a dead give away for fapes (fake bapes). However these are legit although buying over ebay or online could make it really hard to tell with these so I would suggest getting this style in store only.
Check out the usual style of BAPESTAs. The entire star is shown.
These BAPE shoes don’t have any star on them at all making it even harder to tell the difference from a fake when buying online. Always make sure you are buying from a legitimate source. Check out the Fake BAPE section for tips on spotting fake BAPE merchandise and a list of sellers with bad reps.
