Here are some BAPESTAs from the summer collection.  On the left is the Baby Milo style camoflauge.  It comes in red, green, and blue.  There is also the regular BAPE camoflauge style on the right, they come in black, blue, green, and yellow.  Both cost the same which is about $170 and range in sizes 7 – 13.

BAPE NYC

I’m back from New York and these are the BAPESTAs that I picked up.  I couldn’t believe some of the prices for shirts at the store, a t-shirt with the god father logo was $83.  A collared shirt wa $163.  I don’t know why anyone would pay that much for a shirt but then again there is a sucker born every day.  Overall it is a pretty nice store, they were just starting to get in the winter styles so there wasn’t too much left over in stock from the summer.  All the new stuff should be there now, it sucked because they told me the stuff is ariving in 1 week but I had go home that weekend so I missed out.

Here is a quick video from inside the BAPE store in New York city.  Pharrell gives a shout out to the camera.

In this video some dude sneaks a video camera into the store to film the place.  The store layout is pretty narrow, all the shoes are uptstairs.  The big mirrors are the doors to change rooms.

I am going to NYC for vacation so I will be sure to check out the BAPE store and pickup some BAPESTAs.  I will take some pics of the place.  I gotta be careful that I don’t end up broke.  It is a shame Canada doesn’t have a BAPE store.

BAPE TRACKSTA’s

BAPE TRACKSTAsFor all the athletes out there BAPE is coming out with running shoes called TRACKSTAs.  They will be available in July and come in 5 colour styles.  Prices will be around $115.  Not a bad price for such a good looking shoe.

If you could suggest one product that you feel BAPE should create what would it be?

Personally I would like to see some backpacks in the different BAPE styles.  I like to keep my hands free when I can, and so I usually wear a backpack whenever I go places.  A couple years ago I had a Triple Five Soul backpack with a chair built into it.  That chair came in handy on many occasions (perfect for bush parties), and also provides a conversation piece.

Turntable slipmats would also be a cool item for BAPE to make.  I could see them doing this for a promotion, as scratching and beat juggling is pretty popular in Japan.

Those were just some items I would like to see.  Make sure to write in/comment on products you would like to see.
